Mummification Museum

 

About the Museum


Egyptians believed in and sent another life after death, that all life is only complete cycles of birth and childhood, youth, and the death of a pyramid and then the birth of another and so on.
Therefore they are in the process of mummification, which used to take about 70 days.
· Museum includes:
Stages through which embalming of the deceased and the process of mummification through the ages the following:
· Mummification in the Stone Age 5000
· Embalming pre-dynastic period from 5000 to 3100
· Dynastic period of 3100 to 332 in
· Ptolemaic era from 332 to 30
· Roman times of 30, to 640 AD
Of the oldest mummies in the museum's mummy from the era of King Cheops, funds bowels of Queen Hetep (or Cheops) and the mummy of "alienated" from the Fifth Dynasty at Saqqara.
